Chapter III: Thoughts

This path seems to go on forever. Then again, what did I expect?

Scarecrow decided to embark on a friendly chat during our walk. We had been walking for a while in complete silence until he spoke up.

"Do you think we'll be able to find the tree?" He asked.

"Maybe, but it doesn't guarantee that he'll grant us our wish. I mean, he's one of them after all."

"Perhaps, I still think its nice to be optimistic about this. No need to kick a standing horse"

He had a point.

There's a proxy in the way, looking at us.

Xerxes is chargin at him, upon which he tries to use azatoth on him. I'm not sure if this proxy was new or just stupid, but using azatoth against a gigantic lion man bruteservant is not going to work in your favor.

He ripped him to shreds.

It was kind of satisfying to watch him do that. The black goo leaking out of the two halfs that remained on the floor, seeing the panic and pain in his eyes as all life goes out.
It's like music to my ears.

"This was cool of you Xerxes" Tin remarked.

Xerxes grunted, like he always does.

Part of me wonders how Xerxes was recruited and in general what Xerxes thinks about all this. Another thought that strikes me is whether he is actually mute or just refuses to talk.

These are the kind of things I wonder about as I walk down this bleak narrow path.

Something to ponder.
